The Four Horsemen takes you into the footsteps of Alistair, a 19th century research who has devoted his life to the study of the Four Horsemen. When the Horsemen are released on Earth, you must find a way to end their slaughter at the very place they were summoned from. All feedback (or bug reports) is welcome so please drop us a comment or PM. -Please note this is our first custom story so we hope you’ll be considerate when giving feedback.- We hope you enjoy our mod as much as we’ve enjoyed making it! I keep getting "FATAL ERROR: could not load script file 'custom_stories/TheFourHorsemen/ maps/ch01/Intro.hps'! main (117,3) : ERR : No matching signatures to 'MovePlayerForward(const uint)'
This error is due to you not having the Justine DLC. Where did you get Amnesia from? Steam, Desura or elsewhere?
I got it from amazon and I already downloaded this update
Hmm. I'm not sure what else to try. I know that the function "MovePlayerForward" only works with the Justine DLC, so unsure why else it wouldn't work. Maybe you can try re-download the update and try it again?
Just did and still getting the same error. The first time i tried this, I downloaded the update and it created a separate folder so i attempted to merge my Amnesia folder (from amazon) with the Amnesia - The Dark Descent folder (from the update) and my custom stories didn't work either. So I deleted everything and re-installed Amnesia from Amazon but renamed it Amnesia - The Dark Descent so that the update would merge with the folder on its own, but still no fix. Also, isn't the redist folder supposed to contain a custom_stories subfolder? Because mine does not. The only other custom story that worked was The Darkness and Isle. I tried Through the Portal and Insomnia but since I didnt have the redist folder they did not show up either. So frustrating.

Hopefully they will have a solution for you, because I'm at a complete loss of what to do, since I've only ever used the Steam version.

Hi, did you happen to play the demo? If you did, then there are some issues with that.
1) Navigate to Documents/Amnesia/Main/*USERNAME*/Custom and delete the folder "TheFourHorsemen".
2) Navigate to AmnesiaRoot/custom_stories/ and delete the folder "TheFourHorsemen"
3) Re-download the mod, and place into custom_stories.
Hopefully this will fix it, as there isn't a hammer and chipper in the final release!

I normally don't like Custom Stories for Amnesia but this... This is almost like a entirely new game.

Click the "Download Now" button near the top. (or use this direct link: Moddb.com )
Then, navigate to your Amnesia Custom Stories folder (if it's steam, it's under Steam/steamapps/common/amnesia the dark descent/custom_stories)
Just unzip the downloaded folder into that folder. When you launch the game, select Custom Stories, and The Four Horsemen should be on the list.
