The Coalition War, is an Enterprise era mod, set in a parallel timeline where Starfleet nor the Federation was never formed. In it's place a trade and defense alliance, the Interstellar Coalition, between United Earth, Andorian Empire, Confederacy of Vulcan and the Tellarite Republic are at war with the Romulan Star Empire.
TCW is a small modification, designed to bring the feeling of Enterprise, in a more realistic and less rushed way to the Armada II RTS platform. The timeline is different to what many fans consider canon such as the start of the Coalition War (aka Earth-Romulan war) taking place in 2157.
Emphasis is placed in cruisers and destroyers rather than battleships, each species will be different and have their own style of vessels and stations, many vastly different than what is to be expected. All new models are made for this project.
This is a casual modification, which has been in development for about 12 months now with the first faction, United Earth to be released soon. It's being built alongside the Yesteryears modification and by one person and so releases will be slow, but noteworthy.

July 2013 Update

News 1 comment

It's been a while. Having been away for quiet sometime I wanted to announce not only am I back, but I am still aiming at a 2013 release for the Earth faction.

I currently have all the stations complete and mapped, with only the textures requiring to be made, I have completed the utility units and they only require mapping and texturing and only a couple of combat units need to be textured and completed. So all but the most minor modelling has been completed.

To update the TCW profile here on ModDb I have uploaded several images of the Daedalus class, I will be adding some more images in the coming weeks of other units that are complete and ready.

No it's not dead I just am not doing a lot of modding work lately nor updating Moddb for either of my mods.

TCW, is a side project. I do it when I am not working on Yesteryears. As such this is a long term project, and not at my highest of priorities. I am currently taking a break from it at the moment.

An added concern for me at the moment are the Bushfires in NEW Australia where I live. I am currently about 40 minutes away from the largest and it's heading in my direction.

To answer your question, the races I do have planned are United Earth, Confederacy of Vulcan, Tellarite Republic, Andorian Empire, Romulan Star Empire and Klingon Empire. Not in that particular order though. I am also doing one faction at a time.

Wow - so far it looks awsome. Nice to see you are using FleetOps as base. Keep it up - this looks quite promising :)

Thanks, yeah FO gives me a lot more options. I have modded A1/A2 since 2000, and FO gives it a new breath of life for me. Otherwise I would've retired from the Armada modding scene years ago.
