The Campus Mod began as the idea to recreat a school campus to play around on however, with the advancements in game engines, it is now moving on to the Source engine attempting to create a whole new gameplay experience.
Using Team Fortress 2 like classes, players wil be able to play on either the Teacher's side or the Student's. With 9 classes for each side, players will need to use tatics in order to gain the upper hand on their opposition.
Work is already underway on the mod, and talented people are needed. If you wish to assist, please to contact me (Simulator) or Artic-Lizar. ALso, please to apply to join our group (called The Campus Mod Team). Any help is appreciated and you will be credited.
And BTW, yes the screens shown are for FEAR. We have changed to HL2, and once we get something done for that we shall update the pictures.

Ok, so the source SDK has not been updated to allow for the orange box version of the engine. We would like some help when it does get updated.
We need characters to be modelled, maybe some new weapons. THe coding could probably be done by myself though if you wish to assist feel free to let us know.
Also, we may rename the mod. It just seems to plain and boring. We ask if you have a suggestion on a cooler name please contact us.

The map on the first screenshot seems empty...I would like to help, but I can't since I'm working on a mod for kids ( I want to get them off Tf2 and Css >:( and just for fun of working to it). By the way I like the concept...i had a name for you but I forgot it :(
Yeh some of the screenshots seem empty cause thats how we progressed. Though, we do have a small part of the map we will be using un like the FEAR screens above.
This sounds like a cool project, but seriously... think of how bad of a reaction this will get.
"It shows potential security flaws!" etc.
In a small town, (McCall, ID, ever hear of it? Didn't think so.), I simply ask the cashier of the day where the cameras are so I can wave and she glares at me and tells me she isn't going to divulge security secrets. (Of course, this is also an uptight woman, but think of how many uptight people will react to this...)
Suggestion: Make sure you at LEAST take out any mascots and school names and any names anywhere about anything, and change them to something else ie. Bullahowski Secondary School, Home of the Sailors. Seriously. =P
watch out Simulator, the last person to make a video game or mod or map for their school, they were almost taken to court. They even had to destroy the map they made because some people considered it like a school threat or something. Please be careful, i do not wish to see any one get screwed by people that are stupid :D
I might be out if place saying this but some stuff you can add are; kid play stuff like jungle gym and slides, make sure there are sidewalks and if anything takes place indoors, cafeteria and auditorium.
Thanks for your suggestions RollerBoy. We are basing this mod on our own school. There are no Jungle Gyms or slides as it is a secondary school. However, when we come to do the final building (3 stories high) we will have a cafeteria. Unfortunately, the school does not have a dedicated auditorium, but one building is suppose to be like that.
