The aim of this project is to give Star Wars Battlefront II players the feeling of the TCW show but still experiencing the classic gameplay style the always loved. New "modern" features will be included by the way (like recoil or health regeneration) but the core and the spirit of the game will be not touched. New maps will be included thanks to the permission of many good modders you already know (Umbara: Shadow Forest, Coruscant: Modern Warfare, Attack on Venator, etc.) and new amazing characters models, visual effects and weapons. I haven't been around for a long time. I hope you can excuse me, but I had quite a lot of things going on in my life: university, friends, Overwatch competitive mode (I reached diamond and rank decay always forces me to play from time to time) and girlfriends kept me away from this project. But then I saw all the love and interest from the community, all the videos, all the messages and I felt guilty.
So now it's time to get back on tracks, but I can't do it all alone.
I need a bit of help from you guys, I have to admit it. When I started this project I was greedy, I thought that I was the father of The Battles of the Clone Wars mod and none could dare touch my precious son. But as time passed and plans faded, I realized I have to be humble and let this game quit the ripples it is dying in and flow into new strong and fresh streams of developement.
So this is my idea: I will release as soon as possible a link with all the mod assets open to the public. It doesn't matter if someone will re-use them for other projects as long as they credit me and the other original authors. In the end in modding our only real reward is seeing our project come into life, and since we are short on budget, being greedy of my assets will only help this mod stale and consequently die and I don't want this. I have seen so much passion about this mod and I am sure you guys can help me bring it to the light.
Maybe I will try to work on the assets myself (consider that after one year I will be very very rusty), maybe we can create our own facebook/whatever social network group where we work on the assets and bounce new stuff one another.
I can say for sure that I will keep trying to give you general directions about in-game abilities, balancing and contents, but the final decisions will come out from the democratic expression of those who will enlist as volunteers to finish the mod. Since they love the mod (I hope), we won't have any problem discussing things and come up with solutions.
Spread the voice as much as we can and let's help this mod find his final release.

P.S. Even if in the past I swore to kick anyone who would release the private alpha keys, I am not mad at all if they got released, because I can understand all the frustration of the community cause of the disattended promises and the failed hype. I am actually glad everyone can play it, so more feedback can be given and more contents maybe added to the mod.
