The equivalent of Angmar Acolyte for sorcerers
Maybe more variety? (don't even remember how many spirits there was)
Loads. The group Eragon and Arya encounter was something like 12, but they'd probaly travel in even greater numbers at times.
I have to say these are very pretty, but am I right in assuming they'll be neutral units? Cause other than shades they can't really be controled..
The Empire will have a unit who uses them as "money" for their powers
....it wasn'y just the empire, all the people used spirits to fuel their magical powers, i think it was sorcerer's that use spirits. sorry to be picky though.
Only the Empire will have them to add some difference between the factions
As dragonsclaw56 pointed out, and what can be reasoned out, maybe these spirits could be used to make/train Shades (probably then the Empire having them would be fully justified).
Maybe it could be a special power.
could always have it so its like the angmar wizard dudes.when they run out of men in the squad(spirits) they die but become shades? or you can spend a heap of cash to make them a shade.
