Still... Not... Dead...
It feels odd to be working towards a release for this project i started over 2 years ago, sheesh that's weird to think about.
Well despite my job picking up we are all plugging away at Tension! So here is where each team member is at:
Creating the post game screen for the Time Trials which will eventually integrate with a highscores server. I'd love to release the game with the initial story and some timetrial maps that people can obtain global time ranks in. Maybe even a replay system someday, so you can see how top players do it.
Also this greatly increases replay value and I would LOVE to be able to easily deliver DLC in the form of timetrial map packs. =]
Nailed down the story portion of our initial Tension release (no name yet, any suggestions? Tension: Prelude is may favorite so far, maybe we should go VALVe style with Episode 1) So now he is on to blocking out the story based maps and designing different aspects of the player's universe.
Has been working on our ever growing need for models, last i heard he was creating this massive modeled crane. Expect some renders of that soon!
Sorry no media for this month, i usually like holding off on updates until we have some form of media but figured you'd like to know what was going on.. IF you guys like these progress reports i could post one bi-weekly, just no guarantee on media.
