Hey guys!! First, let me express my sincere thanks for this awesome mod!! What a wonderful idea, and brilliantly executed!! I downloaded the mod with no difficulty and have been playing it for a few hours. I tried to invade Kashyyyk and every single time (nine times in a row now) the game crashes to desktop in the middle of the battle. Made it to the loot screen one time, but then it crashed. Just says Mount & Blade has stopped working. Using Windows 7 with NVIDIA GeForce 675M with 4GB of DDR5 dedicated video memory and 12 GB of RAM, 3rd Gen I7 processor. have approximately 100 stormtroopers with me for the battle, no companions. I also downloaded the auto-update and ran it,nice by the way, so I'm all updated, but it still crashed in the middle of the battle. Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks again!!!

This pretty much depends on the engine, there are some major bottlenecks in there that probably need to be re-engineered. And sadly, that's out of hand. :rambo:

Random tips that may help to alleviate in case you are experiencing those symptoms:

  1. Use the enhanced version, that is the latest release of the original game, people have reported that runs smoother and surely less crash prone.
  2. Force the game to use more than 2GiB of RAM by patching it enabling Large Address Aware. Use this program to patch mount&blade.exe
  3. Lower the graphics, the bottleneck is the stressed, unoptimized renderer. People playing on economic rigs usually put the game in DirectX 7 (FFP) mode.
