Description

In SWAT 4 originally, there were only three movement speed options, and these were dictated by armor. No Armor had the bonus of making everything 2x faster to use.

In SEFv4, your movement speed and use speed are now dictated by two factors: Weight and Bulk, respectively. Weight represents how heavy your equipment is, while bulk represents how big it is. Generally weight and bulk are connected, although there are exceptions. The Python is bulkier but lighter than the Desert Eagle, for instance.

Since weight is based on real-life values, and changes with each bullet fired, it is shown on the HUD. Bulk changes less frequently; magazines never lose their bulk, and the HUD does not show it.

You can carry between 5 and 50kg of gear. At 50kg you'll move slower than you would with Heavy Armor in SWAT4. At 5kg you'll move faster than with No Armor. At 0% bulk you'll disarm bombs/unlock doors at 2x speed (same as No Armor), at 100% bulk you'll do it at half speed.
