INSTALLATION

1.Make sure AvP2 is updated to the latest version, which is currently 1.0.9.6.
2.Place the SURVIVALBETA.rez file in your default AliensVsPredator2 folder.
3.Start the game and in the Game Launcher's Main Menu select 'Options'.
Enter (copy & paste, if you like) into the 'Command-Line' field:
-rez SURVIVALBETA.rez
4.Check the box marked 'Always specify these command-line parameters'
5.Start the game and select a campaign. ENJOY!

This is a Final Unfinished Beta Release.
1.Requires Windows XP (For Excellent Performance, No Official Patch released to support later OS)
2.HINTS can be disabled in the Options Menu.

So, at first i liked these missions, but with such bugs it is impossible to play!
I mean seriously, you can not play with predator at all! No original vision modes, no energy shift device? How is he supposed to restore health without energy shift device?
The alien misison is palyable and great, but after some time you just do not take damage!!!
Please fix those problems!!!
Just so you understand, this was a Beta Release, and will always be a bit buggy.

I agree, The engine erroneously calculates fluctuating time limits, there should be plenty of time to finish objectives once you figure them out.
As for not taking any damage with Alien, never heard of this one. Try restarting level.
About Predator game play, Yes, probably to hard. No vision, or health because you have no mask and medic kit, you have to prove yourself first and later you will be rewarded with them. Pick EASY difficulty and go slow. Nobody wanted to test the game so I just scaled the game play to 50% my skill as casual gamer. Thought that would be good for everyone.
Few problems have come to my attention, and it's been 2 years. I have moved onto new projects. Thanks for the feedback.
if its a demo than indicate so next time.
Vista and Windows 7 use up to a gig more of ram than XP, I prefere XP my self. Games always work better on the operating system they where originaly designed for.

Excellent mod dude, looks really profesional. I gotta say even though AvP Talon edit is a really easy tool to use, its not easy to impliment all the extra details like you have(water drips, steam, cut scenes, moving trains"vehicles". Good looking level design too, looks like you followed the films better than the original AvP 2 game.
It was laggy, but was sweet !
what system did you use? xp or vista. works smooth on xp. I couldn't figure out the problem on vista or even win7. i got a gtx295 and was getting around 30 fps.
maybe videocard is not the mandatory part :) since avp2 doesnt support gpu's
its just the windows
