Description
This image shows an improved version and the result of the survey of the HUD Layouts.
With 56% of all votes the "3D metal instruments version" was the winner of the survey, followed by a layout with transparent icons.

I think it might be cooler on the bottom because we are all acustomed to that.
On the bottom player will have to look for
items, batteries and riddle solving stuff.
And pits, and ...
I did not like to occlude players view so it's now on the top.
