Lancer vs Shawnee Perspective Thread - Starship Troopers: 1st Interstellar War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

the lancer shares some traits in common with a smaller ship shown during the first starship troopers movie

the shawnee shares soem traits with the old Methuselah type ships from the series

the long design of the lancer makes it look unbalanced and somewhat awkward. the shawnee has been around a bit longer than the lancer and thus has contributed a bit of itself to the rest of the ships in some way

but the lancer design is good
i would like to see those two tubes on the side of the lancer near its engine stretched out across the entire hull up to the front

and the spine of the ship straightened out that would make it resemble the second ship from the movie considerably more and the neck shortened slightly.
if those changes were made it would make the lancer more accurate to the overall canon of starship troopers (giant mess) and it would be awesome.

also the lancer resembles the primary ship from the anime to an extent. with the changes made it would embody to aspects of the the mythos that has spanned more than half a century

I've redone the aft section of this ship, resized it abit and reclassified it as a frigate, so the Shawnee will still be in the mod.
