Yes the fighters will be on the mesh - ready to protect!
Second Question: Will they be on the mesh as shown, or on the side slanted, as they are in the BC304 Hanger? And if the F312 is a research, will the mesh change to show the new fighter on the pad?
They will be on the deck ready to launch like about and I'm not sure if the engine will allow for the mesh to change with research will have to check with my coding man.
Pretty sure it can. Look at the TEC starbase/Tec Hanger Defence
The TEC starbase has the docking boons/Phase thingys/missle Silos and the Hanger has the Flak Guns.
oh and the TEC Gauss Defence turrets. When upgraded they can get Missles and a Bolt/cannon/thing

F-312 will not be researched, and even if it were, it would not effect the hangars mesh
How do they get to the fighters if their outside of the hangar? :)
There in the fighters ready to take off and there’s a shield when the hanger door comes up.

Looks nice and human-y. But I have to wonder, do you mean for it to look like a ground based hangar that was ripped out of the ground and put in space?

intresting to see a runway was add! they are in space and dont need lift... the hanger it self looks great, just not so much the runway.

I don't know why a runway is there.. If there's no shielding around that station then a runway makes no sense at all. Like Federation said they are in space. They can fly on the same spot and even attach their fighters on other ships.
(seen in SGA where shepard attached his fighter on a Hive ship heading towards Earth.)
So a runway is basically out of place here. The hangar also looks a lot like an Earth hangar. You should make it more scifi like. You could add for example antennas or some kind of radar dishes on top of the hangar to make it more unique.
Still fantastic work none the less. And don't get me wrong.. This is supposed to be constructive critism. I'm not attacking you nor forcing you to do what I like. It's your mod. I'm just providing a neutral opinion here. ;)
Why are there only 2 302s and 312s on the runway?
also hate to double post, but when the fighters are landing they need something so slow down on as they land.
