I dunno it doesnt seem right to have a runway since the 303 and 304 didn't since it they decompressruized the hangar..

kinda thinking the same thing, model is great, seems a tad odd having a runway in space when theres really no gravity ;), though i agree the upgrades should be radar dish and flak guns just to give it that extra finish
with ur idea of no runway they could make it a big BC-304 hanger but i think it shoud be able to hold more than 2 squads
yes there is no gravity in space, so objects in motion, will tend to stay in motion. The runway is to allow the fighters to come in and slow down before entering the structure.
Wouldn't it just work the same way as the bays on the 304 work fighters would probably use maneuvering thrusters as well. I also think it could use some extra details such as a radar dish, antenna, flackguns ect. (though I bet if you added blinking lights down the runway's sides it would look great too)
well there isnt any gravity in space but there is momentum which if not aligned properly and not given proper space an object becomes a faster than sound weapon which could destroy anything, the 303 and 304 had long bays of which when coupled with artificial gravity were able to let the 302's land without any high velocity, this however looks like it doesnt have a covered landing strip, its still the same as one in a 303 304 bay but without extra cover above the strip.
You guys should make it like this would be epic :)
