DotNfg has done a great piece of work for the mod, this being the Asgard Odin Concept ship from SG1. Keep up the good work DotNfg!
What's the triangle count on that?
This is the high poly model which I'll use to bake the base textures. It's about 3-4 million triangles.
Nice, it's an impressive model. I'm looking forward to seeing the low poly version with the baked in texture.

Indeed it has. There were some issues with the workflow and the amount of RAM I've got. I've tested baking some of the retopoed elements and the normal map results are quite close to the original so I know it works well. Unfortunately time is tight and there are also other ships that need to be finished. Retopo is just menial work that I've decided to do after the second titan is detailed.
Ah nice, you added this new but not seen on screen Asgard ship too. We - the Stargate Modding Group - did that also for our latest update of the FOC mod The Pegasus Chronicles. But I have to say your model looks a bit better than ours (more details). Looking forward to the texture, that wouldn't be easy. :)
Btw. according to the concepts we found, the ship was not named "Odin", it was planned to use it as the flagship of Odin. Because of that we decided to give it the name "Sleipnir" like the horse of Odin, the god father of the northern mythology. Just if you are interested in this information.
I'll be using Substance Painter which should help lessen the difficulty of the texturing. From what I've seen so far it makes great use of any details thrown at it.
You're right about the name, it's designated as Odin's ship on the concept reference. Will have to see with the others.

I suggest making the foils more X shaped.. Honestly.. i dont like the trade federation From star wars look to this!
And see the round portion.. make that more hammer or figher shaped.. make it look more badass.. round makes it look not so epic..

What programs do I need to help you out with making these.. Perhaps Ill throw my hand in some making of these.. I cant let it slide by that these dont look as epic as they should..
Well, the design is straight out of the concept drawing. Jack_Hunter posted a link to the concept above. I'd say that whether or not one likes it is kinda personal.
Also this is only one of two titans and the other, which I'm detailing right now, is more of a traditional Asgard design.
This is beautifully designed and i think it should retain the Odin name as it's center section can be seen as representing odin's single eye.
