Very nice glad to see the added side lasers. Are they Turbolaser turrets on the front or are they fixed?

Not entirely. They have very little left-right rotation, but up-down is very noticeable.

1. Great job!
2. Will it have a special ability to ram into larger ships?
3. One suggestion I have is that make the amount of ships and units the rebellion can buy severely limited, to get the feeling that every ship is one step closer to their destruction, while the empire has limitless resources.

2. No as I wouldn't have the first clue on how to code that.
3. Oh God, no. That would be severely unbalanced. Due to the way the AI works in EAW the AI often gets free ships, so not only would the AI not heed the build limits set, the rebel player would be extremely frustrated due to them not being able to hold any planets because they could only buy 3 ships at any given time.

But that's what makes it so interesting! A tiny little resistance against a massive empire that spans the entire galaxy! And we could make it up by having the rebels build super strong fighters and mon calamari cruisers to make it more balanced.

In other hand, that´s realistic. But there´s no way the Alliance would win, if the Empire has their limitless resources no super fighter or MonCal cruiser will be of any use.

That would be unfair

To be fair, the Galactic Civil War was anything but fair lol

As Bucman said, that would make playing as the Rebels very difficult and not fun. I said we wanted to make it realistic as possible, but we wont do that, even if the GCW wasnt fair or not.

Game>Lore this is almost true for every Star Wars game.

Only way that would work is to go through a massive amount of effort on par with something like the Vong at War mod to make a complete campaign style GC. It would be awesome but tons and tons of work and would require a big team of coders. Basically you make it so the Rebellion's job is to complete missions mostly instead of conquering the galaxy. Maybe even make it so they can't build ships themselves at least at the start. If you complete missions you get rewards or maybe it makes it so other worlds are willing to contribute to your cause like for example the Mon Calamari donating their entire fleet. The Rebellion can start out with small cells and you steal ships to grow then you can have the Rebellion expand when you start having more success kind of like in this timeline:

Would be awesome but an insane amount of work to make it fun and balanced and the Empire would have to track down Rebel cells and try to find the main rebel base (say Yavin 4 and then Hoth are hidden off the GC map till an event happens to reveal them) so yes I'd love to see that mod but I wouldn't want to put in that much work to make it so wouldn't expect anyone else to.

That would be the best scenario to play as the Alliance with a lot of restrictions to make it more realistic. But as you said, its a work that only a team like the YVAW could do.

You know what, we really should petition for a EAW "Spiritual remake". With today's tech and new gameplay, it would be amazing!

Description

The Hammerhead corvette was a model of corvette used in the years leading up to and during the Galactic Civil War. The ships were inspired by a design that dated back centuries.

After the rebellion was reorganized into the Alliance to Restore the Republic, several Hammerheads partially made up the motley assortment of vessels that was the nascent Alliance Fleet.

This version is inspired on the Rogue One style. It has 5 lasers (four of these are on the pods in the sides of the ship) and to make it fair the lasers on front have been changed to turbolasers.
