When word of growing dissent on a frontier mining post reached the local Imperial authorities, VSD Scimitar was dispatched. Stormtroopers subsequently restored the peace.
Last time I heard the word peacekeeper it was from Farscape. And we all now how they are. I bet the Empire and PK's would get right along if they don't try to destroy each other first.
