Hey, my name. Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing as the PA as well; though the color similarity between the PA and EotH seems a bit odd.
Maybe try to make the Alignment kind of more purple or dark blue like in Imperial Civil War because the current color matches too much with the EotH color.
This colour has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on anything in game, it's just for the faction select screen. To get them confused, you'd not only have to get the colour mixed up but also their position, because that never moves. As such, rather than to make them more different for no reason, we stuck with their actual colours. It's also the same colours they use in ICW, where they DO have more of a bearing on what happens ingame (because in Sins, the player picks their own colour regardless of the faction).
Speaking of colour, will Ascendancy have its own engine bloom effects, or will it be more like the stock game, where the appearance of engine bloom/exhaust depended on your faction colour?
I ask this as an ignoramus who hasn't played 0.95 - instead waiting for 1.0.
If i remember correctly, they said that they were not going to add Engine effect for performance reasons. i think they said it improved the framerate.
So,there are two more select screens,with "Coming soon" on them.Does that mean we'll get two more factions,or are those for neutral non-playable ones,like Hapes Consortium ?
