A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... This is how the most famous space opera begins. With this mod we want to bring the Star Wars universe to the upcoming CryEngine 3. You will be able to play the whole saga from the movies when this is finished, but until then it is a lot of work... Mainly this will be a single player mod, but we will probably add multiplayer as well. We want to use most of the new features of the CryEngine 3 as procedual destruction, deferred lightning and so on as good as possible. Furthermore we want to create a couple of new features like a sabersystem, the force and much more...
Our first trailer! It shows a little bit of our progress, clone troopers, force push, a lightsaber and some other stuff.
This is still CryEngine 2 and not 3, but we are sure we can use our assets in the new engine as well.

well, by now the saber is just set up as pickable object, this is why it is in the left hand, we will set up it as weapon later, but for the script we need all the animations first an we haven´t got an animator yet...

its coming along pretty good......also the saber along with the above comment should have a sound effect when you swing it
Well, I could add a sound but it is the same as with the left hand issue, the sound is defined in the weapon .xml and the saber isn´t a weapon yet....
