I'd say it was inspired by the name. The film 'Nemesis' focused very heavily on the climactic battle between the Enterprise and the Scimitar. Likewise, Armada 3: Nemesis will be an alternative game mode that focuses on faster paced, combat-oriented gameplay, making multiplayer in particular much more engaging.

TFF will still be about scale, exploration and empire-building, while Nemesis will be about fierce competition.
