The Scimitar takes lots and lots of fire.

The shield effects on the Scimitar would be a good cloaking effect for the Romulan player to see instead of strait-up invisibility imo. What cloaking effect do you guys have atm?
That's an interesting idea. We're still working out exactly what we want to do with the effects. We considered something similar to the phase space transition from the stock game (flickering ships) but we're still not 100% on the effect we'll use

Thats some kind of special ability isnt it? Doesnt look like the other shield effects, and keep the cloak the way it is in Trek, its awesome. BTW is the Scimitar a capital ship or a Titan?
It would probably be a Titan. It couldn't be anything else...
I assume the Thalaron weapon can be used to instantly capture planets?
deplete a population at least probably.
Not to capture planets no, but to kill everyone on it quickly? YES
