After much deliberating, I have decided to cease use of the "PreSky" name of this mod, and continue it under a different name as a new project, since I have begun work from scratch. I also have the failure of the v0.4.* series as a black stain on the PreSky name, and I don't want that particular black cloud hanging over my head during the new development, killing my motivation off.
As such, I have had this mod page archived, and will create a new page in due time. I will still hang around here, answer questions, and post updates occasionally until the new page is created and authorized by the ModDB staff.
I have also removed the downloads for v0.4.*. It was a mistake to upload them here, and I should have let them lie forgotten in the archives of my computer and elsewhere on the internet.
Important details regarding the future of the mod - nothing bad this time.

Oh, well, that's a shame. Good luck with your future endeavors, I suppose.
It's good you actually bothered to close it down, Look at all the truly dead unfinished mods people just leave lying around.
Now that there are map packs with all the CS levels available for COP why don't you move to the newer engine and that way not have the problems associated with CS to deal with such as the corrupt saves.
5 Reason I'm not going to move to CoP and instead stick with CS.
1) Scripts and weapon configs: I'll have to rewrite a lot of them to be CoP compatible, and throw away the rest. CoP also is much more limited in its exported engine functions than Clear Sky.
2) Every stalker and his blind/pseudodog seems to be modding CoP now. Too crowded.
3) I'd need to learn how CoP works with regards to spawning, smart terrains, and other stuff.
4) I've already done quite a bit. I could infact spend a few days in the SDK, change some spawns around on a few levels, and spend another few days merging all of the bits and pieces lying around, and release a preview demo. But I'm not going to. Want to get more of the current WIP stuff finished first.
5) I prefer CS to CoP. CoP's too bland.
I wish you luck and hope you can fix the problems suffered not by just Presky but by practically all CS modifications.
CS, in my opinion, was the best of stalker series. This mod, even though it had corrupt saves, made it even better. Too bad development has ceased. I wish you all the best and good luck, Fluffy22, you did great.
Geez, I didn't actually say anywhere than I'm cancelling (in this news post), just that I'm going to continue work under a new name.
The road has been rather rocky these past few months, and a rebranding is something I have been considering for the past few. The name might change, but the rest will stay more or less the same.
Too much doom and gloom in the Stalker universe right now, with Stalker 2 postponed indefinitely, GSC closing, the Lost Alpha crisis, etc. 2012 might be a bad year for Stalker in general, but I'm going to sure as hell make something positive out of it.
A fresh start with a new slate should do the trick for me.
Whenever i wish to play any of Stalker games i always somehow end up by installing CS, such a great game.
As Fluffy said CoP is too much bland, no more harsh zone.
Maybe a new name will freshen up the mod a bit too ;)
Glad u still hold on to this best mod for CS.
