First off i must say it is a great mod, but the motion blur seems to me to be a bit over the top, is there a possible way to turn it down a notch, or turn it off?

Oh yes there is a way, go to your gamedata\shaders\r2 folder, and delete this file:

mblur.h

and when ingame, press ~ and type in the console "r2_mblur = 0" :)

LoNer1,

Could you alter how the thread displays text, so that the background colors alternate from near-black with a medium-gray? The white-text against the super-pale-gray background is almost impossible to read.

Installation questions -

- amk_anoms.ltx - this file stays in the GAMEDATA folder? meaning it does not need to be moved into a file to be active?
- put_no_use_files_here- i am looking to get the most of this mod in every way so i am assuming this file is not applicable to me?
- ADDONS file-
- 'levels_green' and 'levels_yellow_orange' - does this have anything to do with 'users' or only modders?
- 'shaders (SC2012)' - if i am looking to get the most out of the mod would i use this file ?
- flickering head lamp - i really like this and im glad you put it in. there is only a few seconds between flickering intervals; is it possible to make the flicker intervals maybe every 20 seconds or so? the reason being is that would give it a much better 'creepy' factor. that way when it flickers your imagination can question in that moment whether you saw what you saw. right now it is more or less a constant hassle to see. but hey, i respect your thought train on it and i will try to see this mod through your experience that you worked so very hard for.

I will edit the animation of the flashlight, and about the no_use_files,

i will make that clear here:

the no-use folder is for the people who dont want to use shaders, or want to test shaders. its just a folder and the engine wont interpret files placed in there, so if you move the original shader map in that map, and copy the SC2012 shader map to the gamedata folder, it wont use PPx shaders but SC2012 shaders. Same goes for files, meshes, weapon sounds and so on. But you need some modding background to replace textures, meshes, scripts and what-not, so i recommend to only move shaders in that map.

the levels green / yellow, are optionable level textures. As they imply, green gives a spring kind of feel, and yellow autumn. The default is a mix of both :)

the patch is incoming, i needed to fix massive bugs etc. they are really time consuming :(

i like the mix of seasons.

one last question, a bit bizarre for me too ask.
in the past, typically, if you placed the .ltx file in the docs folder, that would work. i mis spoke when i said i was using your .ltx file. i thought i was but then i realized all my keyboard options were the same.
so... for shi$s and giggles i deleted the .ltx in the docs folder, knowing that in the past the file would regenerate as default aettings. this didnt happen. so when i start the game from .exe, my settings are saved with no .ltx file?
i feel like i should know the answer to this but im stumped because of past experience with modifying the .ltx.. i even deleted your .ltx file from the game data folder just in case.

when you have the time, a thought to my problem would be appreciated.

What .ltx file are you referring to? If its the user.ltx, the game should make a new user.ltx file in your \shared-documents\stalker shoc\

if not, please specify the file :)

it is the user.ltx file that is not regenerating in the MY documents file stalker - SHOC.
i also check it threw c:users/public/ public documents/stalker shoc. win 7 / 64bit

yet the game starts and my settings are saved. after start up there is is still no user.ltx

its really bizarre but it is not a problem with your mod and purely a user issue (well, at least i think)

it doesnt effect me playing SHOC so i guess its not a big deal... very bizarre.

? I don't know how to organize these files.
