A small WIP to fix bugs and bring more functionality to Last Day, regularly updated (make sure to READ THE DESCRIPTION and download the latest version)
- Always make sure to install this over english translation files.
- If you installed any new English Translation files in the future, re-install this add-on once again.
- Install (main files) first, cause some of the included (optional tweaks) won't work without them.
- It's NOT RECOMMENDED to play Azazel mode with (open transactions) option turned off, you may possess someone and find yourself in some locked map with undiscovered exits. so yeah...
Install this part before using any optional tweaks. no new game is required.
This is a collection of bug fixes and improvements:
You may find something useful here, install what you need:
• Controller nerf: this tweak nerfs the controller psi-aura in case you need it, now its similar/a bit stronger than Burer's psi-aura.
• Hotkey (camera toggle): one key to switch between camera types instead of three (default is F10, check (Changing Hotkeys) text file to change it).
• Azazel Faction Menu (by Debrovski): allows you to choose next character's faction you want to play in Azazel Mode and more.
• Choose the Route You're Paying For: (for those who play without opened map routes)
The idea of paying traders for hidden routes in MLR is great. it gives the feeling of progression through your playthrough.
The issue however is that spending those 8000 RU feels like rolling dice, you may or may not get the route you want.
With this tweak:
• Improved Icons for Consumable and Medical Items:
This will replace the low-quality icons for consumable/medical items with improved easily-recognizable one.
- Important Immersion Backports (by VodkaChicken)
- Small Last Day Tweaks (by v1ld)
(2.0):
- Added futures: Azazel mode - Survival mode, Ironman mode has been moved to new-game menu
- Added more options: Suppressor Toggle, Artifact degradation + Opened level transitions + Fast travel
(3.0):
- Fixed issues with Azazel mode, such as transferred radiation/bleeding to new possessed players and dying constantly to psi-surges.
- Fixed some text and UI elements for 4:3 resolutions.
- Brain Scorcher and Miracle Machine are disable in Azazel mode, to prevent instant death to possessed monolith players.
(4.0):
- New optional tweak: (Choose the Route You're Paying For)
- New optional tweak: (Improved Icons for Consumable and Medical Items)
- (artefact_degradation.script) is ported from CoC 1.5, (Artifact degradation) should work properly now.
(4.1):
- Updated to be compatible with the latest English Translation files (0.8.5)
(4.2):
- Updated (axr_companions.script) to prevent possible crashes.
- Restored "Lost for the Zone" message on death >:D
(4.3):
- Fixed a case where companions menu doesn't work upon loading a save (credits to Ghia_00 for the report)
(4.4):
- Fixed: a case where camera binds reset upon loading a game.

are you able to fix the faction relations bug on the pda??. Maybe its just mine but my faction relation doesnt mean anything no matter how many missions. the numbers never change
Faction relations shown on the LastDay's pda only changes when you use the dynamic faction relationship addon.
Otherwise it doesn't change at all.
So.. that one is not a bug.

Dynamic faction relationship addon was included on the 1.1, but somehow seperated on 1.2, leaving that relationship tab on pda.
It's completely normal that you thought that was a bug.
Is there a way to stop the damn mod from giving me clearsky points instead of my loner faction? Such as wacking soldiers and bandits etc all go to clear sky liking me.
Really odd.
There's nothing odd about it, that's the way the mod works:
You kill someone from some faction, the enemy of that faction will like you.
Military and Bandits are enemies to Clear Sky, killing them will make Clear Sky likes you more. and so on for everyone who hates Military and Bandits (except monolith, their relations never change)
I didn't even know that the radiation suit had such bug.

I found out about it after getting the suit, turns out that a small typo in the outfits file is causing it.
i have a "bug" or something. doing a mission to fanatic to eliminate mutant lair, but then fanatic die, and no "mission failed" pop up, nor does it said is finish. and i kill everithing in there (cordon, near train rek next to anomaly) so, there`s the mission, never to end. tnx in advanced
It's somewhat a bug. Fanatic doesn't want to go to his spot after you finish his training mission. You have to save after finishing this task and reload it, he should go to his spot.
It fails because he was probably killed by mutants or stalkers because he wants to follow you all the time.
I don't have to start a new game, right?
Those don't touch your saves or anything, you're fine.

Any way you can make a version of the camera hotkey that goes between the 1st/3rd over the shoulder, without the 360° view cam?
You can edit it yourself, it's super easy:
- Open the file (gamedata/scripts/trx_hotkey_cam.script) with the Notepad.
- look up the line: (if a == 4 then a = 1 end)
- Change it to this: (if a == 3 then a = 1 end)
- Save and close, you're done.

U r welcome, i got a headache yesterday but it was possible.
I used to play with Azazel + Ironman modes, ultimate fun i must say.
There's an issue however, spawning in areas affected by Brain Scorcher will cause instant death to the new npc even if it was monolith. i used to face this in 1.4.22 but we will see if it can be resolved.
I think i will add Azazel mode faction menu as an optional tweak, it allows you to choose the new faction upon death.
What a big plan you have.
I just hope that it's going to require minimum effort as possible. not a headache this time. :)

Hey guys I have very big question is it possible to get working Full Simulation A-Life addon on last day Mod if someone now how to deal with it it wold by awesome.I really want see Zone full of Stalkers,like it was on COC 1.4.22 version.

Looks like Full A-Life isn't working in Last day 1.2....did it worked for you?
Haven't try it out yet. but it should work perfectly fine since it works on CoC 1.4.22.
Full A-Life makes alife active in all maps, you won't notice any actual changes on your location if that what you think it does.
I was expecting some hard fps drops or something like that,since my pc isn't top notch,and everything was running fine. By the way, I installed it both in CoM folder and Last day folder,is this the right way?
What CoM folder?
Just copy the (gamedata) folder from Full A-Life Simulator add-on and paste it in Last Day's main folder.
It should ask you to overwrite some folder/file.
It didn't asked to replace anything. I think it's because I used the patch 1.1 to 1.2.
How fast travel works?
I showed this addon to the developer of Last Day and he'd like to include it in 1.3, if your permission is given. Just a couple of issues, though - in Azazel mode, any bleeding on death is transferred to the new character on respawn, and the game also crashes when commanding a squad of companions to move to a specific point:
gamedata\scripts\axr_companions.script:510: attempt to index local 'squad' (a boolean value)
Whether this ends up in 1.3 or not, I hope it gets fixed! :D

I will do some tests and see what i can do.
Any way to fix being unable to loot mutant corpses? The menu pops up, but clicking Okay does nothing. Have to hit escape to exit the prompt showing the mutant parts list.
you have to klick on the items u want to loot. Found this also realy confusing. We would need a take all button...

Yeah, it is quite confusing. MISERY always worked with "OK" button being "Take all"
I did a new "undocumented" update, to fix some issues with azazel mode.
If someone faced new bugs with it, report to me.

It exists in 1.4.22 and still has no fix, maybe i can get some luck later.

Sweet. Also, some of those .xml files are based on slightly outdated versions. I might not update the translation for a while, so it'd probably be worth it to check your changes.

Looks like only mlr_addon.xml needs an update, the others are related to settings and scripts. nothing is changed about them IIRC.

Hello, I've got a problem with this mod, specifially with the axr_companions.script file that comes with it. After reloading a save/using a level transition, you can't use the middle-mouse button pop-up menu. It gets fixed if you make him leave and rejoin, but it's not possible with escort/guide companions. I don't get what's happening here. Other than that, the fixes in this mod are very handy, thanks for sharing
Are you sure that wasn't happening before installing this mod?
Edit: Well ****, looks like the port from 1.4.22 was a mistake, i will restore it CoM to fix the issue :/
