You should simulate allergy too xD If you get into a flower field, you get blurry vision and stuff...

Nah, seriously that's a nice feature, but there are more important things :D

It doesn't make sense that someone would die from standing next to a corpse.

Faint and then fall down, face first in a position in which you cannot breath? You would not die from touching a corpse.

How about his, whenever you get near them, the camera gets a bit shakey and sounds soften to show that the character is not used to exposure to such carnage. The number of corpses would increase or decrease the effect.

I agree that being near the corpse should not kill the player.
Instead you could use effects to simulate the player getting sick or add a penalty to movement speed when near a corpse and getting sick.
You could also decrease the health of the player temporary and make it increase to it's previous state again when the player has left the area and begins to feel better, just like when your drowning in Half Life 2.

But that's just my opinion and advice about it :)

Keep up the good work and I think this idea with corpses is a really good and realistic idea, there are not many if any games/mods around that simulate this realistic effect.

I think the corpse effect has merit. Being near a bunch of corpses when you're totally not used to that won't kill you, but it might well send you insane or catatonic, either of which is death if you're looking to evade elite security forces.

So same ****, really.

The 'psychological pain' idea reminds me of the 'sanity factor' in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, where, if the player examines disturbing things, or has stressful things happen to them, even by being shot at, the player's sanity begins to be lost, which causes them to hear voices, see visions, randomly start firing, and their vision to be impared.

I like it.

Description

Corpses will produce you psychological pain if you touch it or walk to near. The explanation is quite simple: No one would touch a rotten body in a wet dark place or in the middle of a battlefield. The pain wont be much, but in a long period of time it would kill you.
Only bloody or rotten corpses will produce this effect.

PD: Sorry for the lack of the logotipe, the artist's pc fried yesterday :l
