Yes, it's bit too far.
If you would make it looks like this - it would be perfect.

it's probably the FoV, in MW2 when you zoom in it goes down to like 25 like in that picture, in this it's like 70-90.
No, it's not the FoV. It used the same FoV as vanilla BF2 guns but except the rear and front sights are not modified like what you see in vanilla guns (too close). Maybe I will re-do it specifically for this mod.
No need to, I'm going to make zooming animations
