A HL2 Ep2 modification set in the 80´s South America. By now it´s meant to give the player a half hour of interesting playthrough with few original puzzles. The story behind the main character -and their identity itself- will remain as a mistery by now. Just think about a not so organized Combine force taking over a third world country, twenty five years in the past. All the visible content not taken from the original game has been made by me*. This reachs -but is not limited to- Levels, models, materials and sounds. * With the enormous exception of trees and guns whose will be either replaced or their authors properly credited.
Well, such a model wasn´t an easy task. The skin alone took me the whole weekend (with a monday off) plus several hours split between past monday to friday. At the moment of taking the screenshots my computer was lagging like hell. i´m worried of whether it is too much detail (below 7000 polys, i don´t think so) or too big skin 2048x2048 plus a 256x256 for the alphatest parts. Or maybe the collision mesh, which is well above the recommended 40 pieces. Well, truth be told, I was running 3dstudio+XSI Mod Tool+Hammer+Photoshop with about 30 textures opened+GUImdlcompiler+MSN+IE and all the shit a computer is usually full of. So it may be a mix of both facts but I´ll have to make some sacrifices performance-wise.
Some details weren´t compiled with the model by mistake and the texture still needs some work, specially in the seams.
