Source Karts is a fun and wacky go kart racing mod for Half-Life 2. The object of the game is to beat your opponents to the finish line no matter what. You can use droppable mines, oil slicks, glue spreads and nitrous boosts to gain the advantage over your opponents. You collect these items around the track. And can only hold 2 items at one single time. You use the primary and secondary fire buttons to execute the weapons. Source Karts aims to bring the Mario Kart style experience into Half-Life 2 with Half-Life 2 environments and characters.

Hi guys, good news. The leader of the now dead mod Source Racer has been kind enough to share some of the source for the mod. Which means we now have a great headstart on becoming closer to completing the mod.
Recently i've been doing full time work so i haven't had time to do much for the mod. And i start college in september. What we need is someone who can work on coding for the mod and put work on the Source Racer code and implement it to work for our mod.

Might be able to get you guys a website for this mod. Just would like to know what type of style your looking for. Think this mod sounds pretty fun like that old racing game. Umm lmao cant think of the name. You race on tables and jump off and junk and dodge oil. Its pretty fun anyways yeah I could help ya out with a site.

i wish i could help but i know nothing about anything in terms of coding and sound and modeling, webmaster'ing. and i suck at drawing , my stick people look like their only half stick people with dots for heads

It would be nice if u have a teammate on the back of the cart to throw stuff at people
its one to look on. I agree, different gamestyles. I wud really like to see a battle mode, like in super circuit on the gba and maybe with rpgs on the cars... also u need a respawn system and maybe a health bar.
Sounds awesome i suggest multiple gametypes. i will definatyl give this a try.
