The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.

Thats what this mod is all about for me.

New places to get lost, new holes to fall down, new people to meet and new jobs to do.

If I find myself on a map I don't know and I'm lost I get all excited. weird huh! I'm sure we all know where this is though. My clue (if I'm right) Is Mama's beady eye.

Seems like, smter picked an old version from dark dolina.
If its this one from the 2205 build, it would be my favorite^^
Its much bigger and the whole level design was more... mysterious.

Yep the areas are what its about for me. If only he could add some sort of persistent goal too. Like maintaining a camp or something... That would make this mod better then any sequel we could have hoped for.

Eh it is a mod. It's only done when he decides. He could release with all the maps and still keep it going for in development for years if he has the time and enjoys it. No reason not to share ideas.

I would think that the answer would be: "Frak yea! Its a sh1t load of work!" But I suppose that smrtphoneusr loves what he does/is doing so its all worth it at the end of the day. That is how I see it at least. Am I rite or wrong smrtphoneusr? :) Nice job BTW progress is coming along swimmingly.

How about some new locations like the metro level?^^
Combine the whole zone into one big landscape like in fallout 3...
That would be totally awesome, but I think its impossible for the xray engine.

I would think that the engine Singularity uses would be a great replacement OR get Bethesda to buy S.T.A.L.K.E.R..

that would be good... but they'd bethesdaise it. s.t.a.l.k.e.r. 2, if it's even getting made or whatever it is i don't know. should be made by the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. team, to make it as classically s.t.a.l.k.e.r. as possible.

Bethesda will ruin the STALKER just because they have no feel of grimness and fear that permeated the entire Zone. And gamebryo engine is far from good decision.
