The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.

Decayed zombies eh? Can't wait to explore it, would be cool if you added some scavenged kitbashed weapons similar to the Bastard in Metro 2033, something cheap and jam-prone for the unlucky rookies in the zone.
I hope those zombies are either really tough, or "hunt" in packs, lone slow zombies are usually rather easy to kill which might kill the creepy factor.

I don't know, stalker always had brain damaged stalkers classified as zombies, but they were never undead. Just insane and dying.
Stalker had zombies in the old builds, and they were used in almost every big mod created to date.
And poltergiest, surely they would be classed as magical undead if anything is.

They weren't undead, either. Just flying telekinetic midgets that could phase through walls.
And they'll be crawling telekinetic midgets in Smrter.
That's the SHOC version, what about the types in COP at the Iron forest anomaly and the (I forget the anomalies name) fire one with heavy psi effects in Smrter. There's two types that are not SHOC's legless thumper version.

In SOC there was a Pyrogeist, they used that in the circus anomaly in smrtr.

Why don't imagine them as ghouls, decayed for long exposure to radiation or if it's a zombie then we could say that radiation revived him since radiation are energetic particles or waves that travel through a medium, like electricity, energetic electrons, so could radiation work as some kind of defibrillator :P?

To all the people bitching about the new monsters and how they don't fit in with the lore or realism, most of the stuff in STALKER is in no way realistic, plus, most of the stuff he is adding will be optional, so stop whining.

mist is surely possible in some areas, the level is way to big to cover all of it though. Adding water usually requires recompiling the level, but you just gave me an idea on how to (in theory) make it work without having to rebuild it all.
