Over the years I've found in certain circles that Redux V8 is quite the favorite version of SMOD. That it was the watershed moment for Redux, for the better. Some even prefer it to Redux Final. When I downloaded it for the first time in a long while, I had to do some finagling with addcontents, gameinfo, and the background.bsps. This isn't wholly laboursome, but that sort of thing is enough to deter some people from downloading this great mod, and I'm not for that. So I bring forth an all put together version of Redux V8, including the 1.0 addon pack, ready to work immediately with SMOD Standalone by simply extracting it to Standalone's "mods" folder. Changelog for the addon pack:
"SMOD Redux Addon Pack V1.0 Released December 24th, 2009
GAMEPLAY/SCRIPTS
-Added "SMOD Player Model" setting to the main menu.
WEAPONS
-Added "Desert Eagle" pistol.
-Added "FN P90" sub-machine gun.
-Added "M249 PARA" light-machine gun.
-Added "M4A1 Carbine" assault rifle.
MAPS
-Added Combine Hunt map "Titanic".
-Added Objective map "Kinyoenta"
-Added Survival map "Torrent"
GRAPHICS/MODELS
-Added "Gordon Freeman (C17 Citizen)" to the Player Model option.
-Added "Combine Soldier" to the Player Model option.
-Added appropriate Kick models to both new Player Models."

Yeah its very cool and fun mod to play. Really huge problem is that always crashing. So its still unplayable for now.
