There are several maps which you have already seen in the first Slums. These maps are rebuilded, fixed and have better and real view now. A lot of work was done with design of levels such as lighting, placement of objects, location reality. I want to continue a line with a slums style and closed areas and add more maps to play, too. I know, people like it. Slums is totally converted to the episode 2 engine and it makes the mod better. So, now you`ll need to have a hl2 episode 2 game for starting the mod. Diolator (Mapper)

Nice.
Add displacement for the floor, broke tile and add concrete and overlay.
Add props light on the ceiling and add mirror !
;)
None of those are really necessary.
Floors are usually flat you know, also not all areas have broken tiles, and map already have decals as I see.
There are places that need lots of detail and places that don't. If this is a quick pass area, adding more detail is just loss of time.
Where are the old screenshoots?
It looks fine to me
As Jokerme said, some places needs lots of detail and some other not. This is quick pass area really. That because this room is medium detailed. In this screenshot i wanted to show the cubemap`s reflection from the light. It looks good i think.
Actually, when you make a mod you need to work with limits of Source engine. Nobody can`t make very detailed maps, cause it will get a crush or some other glitch. Those who make a mods must understand me. The look of a player and a modder is very different in most ways.
I disagree, you can get a lot of detail into source maps without "crush?" or glitches.
