Description

Well, since im replacing the entire story, I need something other than a slipgate. This is a hyperspace bridge. Built long ago by [Somebody...] and left as derelict scattered around the galaxy. Some are located in the center of the populous, while others are simple between star systems, like this one in the Sea of Echoes, a battlefield older than the fleets that patrol it. Bridges use massive amounts of power to create a stable, long range hyperspace portal. These portals require untold amounts of power. It is believed that they extract power from the local background radiation and store it. However, due to lack of maintenance, the journey through these portals are less than...comfortable.

Not sure if these will receive some functionality is up for debate. I might create a game type with reinforcements arriving every so often. Cool looking though. Trying to address the Lag on most maps at the moment.
