Slipstream: The Price of Freedom takes place during the many battles of the Freedom war, a 300-year long war between the UNCG (United Nations Central Government) and DSCG (Dominion of Super Conglomerate Governments). The year is 2631, The climax of this massive war. It has been noted to be the bloodiest and longest war ever fought by humanity. Thousands of battles are taking place all over the milky way, fleets confront each other, planets are being bombarded. Take a role in a skirmish battle, choose a side, and choose a theatre, fight for your cause. Take your fight to the campaign and follow one fleet as it delivers the final crippling blow to the DSCG and it's religious overlords. Choose a side and fight for your freedom, but before you do, ask yourself this: At what cost?

Looking very good indeed, Love it guys. keep up the good work!
Looks like it could be a symbol for a slipgate (Or maybe a very specific, very important slipgate). Or a black hole. Or...something else...
Damn the suspense!
Its always amazes me how the moding community can push as games engine beyond what the developers could do. Awesome work keep it up!
Well, To be honest this was done in Photoshop, but I could get the homeworld 2 engine to do it. :P
Something tells me 10=8 is one of these paths...
This would take ages to make in photoshop.
Is this a symbol for an alien slipgate not a one made by UNCG and DSCG will it go to some place like dark space (dark space is the space1 outside a galaxys)
Ok, I'll say this: It's a Tsaraii symbol (the Ancient race that built the slipgate system. as for what the symbol is/does...time will tell)
YES GOT IT RIGHT :) but what it is used for? a massive WMD mybe or a silp drive of some sort.
is this related to mass effect like there mass effect gates (have you played mass effect)
I've played mass effect, yes. But these gates are very different from that. as for what it is used for...well, you'll find out soon ;)
