i think the allegiance may well be my favorite imperial warship, aside from the Bellator Class and the Praetor/Praetor II, sadly it seems the Bellator never gets any love though... I almost wonder why.

The main reason the Allegiance is in rather than the Bellator is a matter of availability. At the time of this ship's introduction into the mod I did not even know about the Bellator, let alone have a model of it.

's understandable, after all, though absolutely awesome looking, the Bellator isn't exactly the most well known class of ship, heck, I discovered it on accident just wikiwalking on wookipedia. and the Allegiance isn't a bad looking ship either, it fits in more with what people see as "standard" imperial aesthetics, and to be honest, the Bellator is a bit odd looking compared to what most people would see as an imperial warship.

The Bellator did not really exist until 2012. Before that it was just a random Star Destroyer without a name in the Dark Empire series comic books. Then a guy named Ansel Hsiao made high detail models of many such anonymous Imperial Warships for the essential guide to warfare, where they were given names and specs. To this date I believe no Star Wars in universe media has ever had a Bellator called such by name, so only people who regularly read the source books or wookiepedia/fractal sponge/mod pages would know about it.
