My rework of the classic Easterling. Custom model using bits and pieces from the old RotK game and BFME2 as well.
Very Nice! I like the face.
Yeah, he has a killer face, looks super serious like an experienced mercenary who fought a lot of campaigns and is super badass. :)

I am concerned about the upper leg armor. Every time the soldier will move the knee upwards a bit (to walk for instance), the spikes on the top of this piece will hurt him in the thighs. I think that the upper leg armor needs to be blunt and flat on its top to be more realistic.
Its scale armour, so it will move with the soldiers leg, adapting to the shapes of the leg during the movement, so it wont pierce his thighs. Eastern armour was mostly scale even in the real world, because of this very factor and that it covers more of the body than plate mail does. I do believe it was heavier though.
I'm not going for complete realistic accuracy here.. In fact when it comes to accuracy compared to Weta's design:

The scale plates on my leg armor doesn't even go up as high as theirs did in the real outfits. I don't think it is much of an issue. :P
The upper scales of the leg armor in the picture are blunt though ;)
But I agree, in-game it will probably not be noticeable anyway so it's not very important. Just thought I'd put my two cents in.

Haradrim models shown are replacements for the Harad units that already exist in Mordor.
They are certainly far better and have more detail than most haradrims in other mods :D
