I'm very sorry to have to post this after all of the teasing we've done in recent months. I feel I owe you guys a proper explanation, so here goes:

Recently, the SaF team has lost all three of its coders due to a variety of reasons: real life issues, the focus on a different project, or simply a loss of interest. As of right now, the next release is close to completion in terms of content, but there is a pretty daunting buglist to take care of before I can safely release the mod. I couldn't code my way out of a paper bag, which, with SaF's complex systems, is a roadblock. As such, I'm putting the project on hold. Don't worry too much - it's been on hold before and bounced back spectacularly, but I can never be sure of how or when. That's just how it works in a modding community of this small size.

As a team, we're thankful for all of the kind comments and support we've garnered over the years, and are certainly not giving up hope. This is not an obituary: just felt like you guys deserved more than a passing comment. Plus it helps thin the inevitable 'where is update guis' flood, which I see has already started. ;)
