This Ered Luin dwarfs are from Eriador right?Ered Luin are mountains in Eriador right?Hey can someone tell me there story and how did they got there(to Ered Luin) i dont know very much about the story of Dwarfs from middle Earth. I know a little bit from Elves and even more from the story of men but from the story of dwarves i dont know very muc...someone give me a middle-earth history lesson please :)
In short: The Blue Mountains (Ered Luin) were a huge mountain range in western Eriador. Map link: Abo.fi
The Dwarves had lived in the Blue Mountains ever since the First Age, in great mountain fortresses such as Belegost and Nogrod, which were ruined when the lands west of the mountain range were destroyed after the War of Wrath (marking the beginning of the Second Age). Afterwards, many Dwarves went to settle in Khazad-dûm (the ancestral home of Dúrin's Folk), although some Dwarves stayed behind in the Blue Mountains. Fast forward a couple thousand years; Khazad-dûm is ruined due to the awakening of the Balrog, which led to the founding of Erebor, which was later sacked by Smaug, causing the Erebor Dwarves to relocate once again to the Blue Mountains.
Nice, keep up the good work!
