Any questions about Playing single player mods in Evolution of Combat III.

In EoC it is possible to play any mod that does not use specialised animations.

How to play mods in EoC
=========================

Ill give 2 example of how to do it ,the rest you will have to figure out for yourselves.

1. Create a new folder on your desktop
2. Go in to your EoCIII folder ,normally located here C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Evolution_of_Combat_III
3. Using a program like winrar/winzip Extract the contents of every .pk3 file into the folder you made on the desktop.
4. Now pack all the extracted folders into 1 .pk3 file and rename it to something like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzEOCIII.pk3
5. Place the new zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzEOCIII.pk3 file into your base folder
6. Go into your GameData folder, normally located here C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData
7. Rename EoCsp.exe Application to jasp.exe

This will totally convert your Jedi academy game to Evolution of Combat and should allow you to load mods from the mods section in the menus

Method 2 (much simpler)

1. Select the mod you want to play For example "nemesisofkatarn"
2. Go into the mod folder and change the name of the mod .pk3 by adding "0-" to its name. (thats a zero)
3. Then copy the renamed .pk3 files into your BASE folder
4. Start EoCIII Singleplayer , Open the console and devmap "map name" the name of the first level in your selected mod.

DANGER.
========
Altering mods can cause errors and in some cases game crashes,(ESPECIALLY EoCIII) .
EoCIII uses File specific animations and some of the files if altered will cause errors or crashes.
The EoCIII Engine searches for certain files when running and if these files have been removed or altered then the game may crash.

Mods that are definitely NOT supported or playable in EoCIII
==========================================================
1. KOTF (for about 10000000 reasons EoC will not work with KOTF)

2. Movie duels 2(Sadly movie duels 2 uses many "Mod specific" animations that are not supported in EoCIII)

3. Any mod that has individual menus for example Escape Yavin 4.(Unless you know how to adapt menus) can be difficult to play in EoCIII.
