This idea isn't final and may change during it's development. The world is a near alternate future close to our reality and the game will follow "realistic" future progress. In this alternate future research in computers and robotics are so far advanced that expensive human modifications is so common it's almost the norm. Artifishial human bodies have been developed and combined with a new form of AI called CHI (cybernetic human intelligense). The CHI chip is based on organic processors. Combined, theese two new techs are artifishial humans, nearly undistinguisible from normal humans. Man became god, and angels decended over the world demanding that all CHI developement should stop and that no more artifishial humans should be stopped. Some men opposed this and said that the angels themselves where advanced artifishial humans. And so the war started.

Angels vs The Resistance

The gameplay would be team based point system with a couple of tweaks. The truly uniqe with seraphim would be the maps and possibilities of new tactics and the need for cooperation to win the maps. All ordinary tactics would be applicable (darken, shut of, lock in and so on) and a couple of new would be availible (changing spawn, infiltrate, hide (map dependent), sound sensitive). Both teams have uniqe classes (Angels or Artifishal Humans). Classes, weapons and gear are bought with a resource system at the beginning at a round. Both teams have a team leader who is in charge of a reward system which should make team members eager to fullfill his vision and tactics. At some points the team leader will be able to call for backup in form of vehicles or special weapons to make a certain tactic possible. Theese backups will cost a lot of resources.

Engels gain experience over time and they develop more and more abilities. Jumping slightly higher, floating a little in the air, running faster, and being tougher. At some point Engels might even be able to fly if he has gotten enough kills without dying. Working on theese ideas though.

Artifishial Humans buy their upgrades at spawn CS style, and they are stronger then the engels, jump higher, they have more armour and are generaly thougher then the Engels, at first. They are slightly stiffer though in their movements. For example, making the "big jump" they have to push a extra button at the same time as the jumpbutton and then there is a slight short animation before the actual jump which sends you flying up to 6 meters upp in the air. Upgrades examples for AH are, Nightvision, X-ray vision and extra armour.

The maps will be modern world slums, and hitech areas, hotels, sewers and streetlevels. Im figuring about the possibilities to make a carchase map also.

The Seraphim team is in desperate need of people who want to make a mod with a lot of possibilities and not just ONE goal but several ones and more than "kill the other team" tactics.
