This is Glee, former member of the Sapphire Scar team -- I left for personal reasons. I still wish I had the time to contribute :/ Maybe sometime in the next year, but not yet.
Anyhow, while I was a technical consultant, we'd nailed down just about all the science we were going to address, with one tricky exception: artificial gravity. But I just found a Slashdot article that concerns precisely this issue!

If I may reprise my old role for just this brief moment, I'd recommend that the the spinning gravomagnetic generators use cesium, or a cesium alloy, as cesium is known for its quantum stability. Please feel free to message me here for any further details or proselytising ;)
