Rome Total Realism: Under the Eagle (RTRUE) will start off in the year 27 B.C., with Augustus becoming the first emperor of the now Roman Empire. The mod will have historically accurate units and factions, and will end in the year 326 A.D., when Constantinople was made capital.
RTRUE will run off of the brand new Rome Total Realism 7.0 map, with historically accurate region borders, city locations, and geography. RTRUE will aim to extend the current level of realism found in Rome Total Realism into the Common Era.
RTRUE will require Rome Total War: Barbarian Invasion patched to version 1.6.

Welcome to the Eighth Official Map Preview of Rome Total Realism: Under the Eagle
Our journey through the Roman Empire is coming to a close. This will be our final stop inside the safe boarders of the civilized world.
And as always, Enjoy :D
We start off at the island of Crete, home to the capital city of Gortyna.
Heading to the northeast, we stop at the first of the Syrian regions, the northern most is Syria Prima, home to the city of Antiocha.
Moving south, two more regions come into view, Phoenicia Prima and Phoenicia Secunda, home to the cities of Tyrus and Damascus, respectively.
We now jump far to the southwest, just east of the Tripolitania region. This is the region of Cyrenaica, home to the city of Cyrene.
To the east of this region is the city of Patrae.
Continuing to the east, we end up at the great cities of Alexandria and Memphis.
Our final stop sends us further south, to the city of Thebes.

NO ROME TOTAL REALISM MODS WORK. INSTALLING THEM MORE OFTEN THAN NOT WILL MAKE EVERY FILE FOR ROME TOTAL WAR YOU HAVE INOPERABLE, REQUIRING A FORCED UNINSTALL.

patch your Copy to the Latest Version first before installing an RTR mod also make sure you you have followed the FAQ's
They only work for version 1.3 you *******.
anyone know how to install rome mods on linux? with wine? im trying to install fourth age total war the new shadow and rome total realism but i cant figure the bloody thing out! PLEASE HELPPPPP!!!!!!
you also need the alexander expansion for the fourth age mod
