Rockets UT

Unreal Tournament mod | Released Oct 17, 2006

This mod was inspired by Bazooka Quake 3, a Q3A mod where you only have the rocket launcher and pick up different types of ammunition for it, like concussion missiles or rocket pods.
Equally, in Rockets UT you only have the rocket launcher, but it can use several types of ammunition.
Most of the new rockets were taken from Descent 2 by Interplay Productions and Parallax Software or from Descent 3 by Interplay Productions and Outrage Entertainment.

Rockets UT features lots of new rocket launchers:
Concussion Missiles, Napalm Rockets, Toxic Rockets, Flash Missiles, Plasma Rockets, Homing Missiles, Laser-Guided Missiles, Cyclone Missiles, Blade Missiles, Mercury Missiles (regular and InstaGib), Frag Missiles, Seeking Grenades, Smart Missiles, Mega Missiles, Earthshaker Missiles, Black Shark Missiles and the Turret Placer

The Turret Placer can launch one of five different turrets:
Rocket turret, Phoenix turret, Helix turret, Fusion turret and EMD turret

There are also various armor pickups and powerups, including spiced up versions of UT's Invisibility, Damage Amplifier and Shield Belt.

As a little preview for the next version of Rockets UT I released the mutator Redeemer 2k3. It replaces the UT Redeemer with the version from the current build of Rockets UT which is not yet ready for a release.

The modified Redeemer features explosion effects and a guided redeemer HUD similar to those in UT2003 as well as some Rockets UT features like enemy/friend/owner indicators in the guided redeemer HUD and a push back effect when launching a redeemer missile.

I never got bored when testing it bofore I went on to UT2k3 and I didn't get bored when I got back to it a while ago.
Now I decided to continue working on the mod and started with fixing the turret launcher and replacing the UT redeemer explosion with the UT2k3 one.
I hope I can finally finish this mod in the near future.
