Can you do version without weapon sound changes?
**** as shame, but I'm afraid that I will have to change something in the source code of the game. Then he reinstalled. Sound files there to edit / replace without digging in the localization is impossible.
However, there is Lt. Speers modes (similar to mine) there the sounds of the original are not changed, you can play in it, though in it the gameplay is much worse than mine (then you will understand).

Amazing stuff, I like how simple changes can convert sections of levels that you usually pass through easily a real threat, a little observation and is something that "Realism" mods do a lot is the amount of ammo that you can get from your dead comrades and enemies too in this case is very few, causing you to end up using the ak-47 the whole map
Hmm, just THIS mod was actually created as a simulator of real war (considering the game realities of Call Of Duty 4 of course).
As you correctly noted, different weapons behave (if you can say so) in different ways.
AK47 and AKM are just famous for their strong impact-more or less accurate shooting can only be short (2-4 shots) bursts and for short distances (unlike weapons under .223 or SMG under 9 * 19 Luger).
And the weapon that you picked up from the dead enemy, contains only 1 clip, and not always complete.
And do not disdain to use grenades, a knife and pistol !!!
