After the year+ wait, the next public beta has been released. All of the details can be found by following the link and browsing the news topics:
So much mod to explore and enjoy with 10 factions (Rohan, Men of the East, & Arnor Added, Elves split out), combo hordes, the more than 30 maps added, new map play styles that blend BFME1 & BFME2, over 35+ RotWK maps with the new camera system and skies. Explore Middle Earth once again and rediscover the joy of BFME! (All screenshots below were taken directly from actual gameplay!)
For the short term, the mod without an installer is available. I'll be creating and uploading one with the installer.
Thank you for playing, and a huge thank you goes out to all of the team members and the beta testers to make this possible,
Robert J.

Can anyone tell me which patch i need for bfme 2 and rotwk to play this mod ? :)
You need RotWK official patch 2.01.
great mod, there is just one thing that bothers me:
when you play war of the ring mode, cuz of the complete revamp of the elven race, if you play as elves and are fighting on enemy territory, you're unable to build anything, cuz you need to decide which branch of the elven race you want to go, but that can't be done when you have no fortress prehandedly, so this renders the elves as pretty useless in war of the ring mode, hope this gets fixed.
otherwise great mod.
I have a problem. I have downloaded RJ-RotWK but for some reason I can't launch it. I really need help!
Hi, this mod looks wonderful, congratulation guys.
I'd like to know how many heroes has been added, because i'm looking for a mod with many heroes, thank you ! :)

-Question-
First off, This is quite a good mod. I however do experience a bit of lag, especially in War of the Ring. I figured it may have been the size of the mod, however, when I attempted to install Mount & Blade. I succeeded at installing, and after it installed the mod Europe 1805: The Third Coalition, and it lagged quite bad, even worse then this mod does.
Furthur more I would like to know if there's a way to fix my lag in War of the Ring. The lag usually appears when nearly the entire map is captured by every side. If it's useful, my driving system is Vista, and I'm on a Laptop. The laptop is capable of running Rise of the Witch King even better then my cousin's PC.
Alright, fixed. My PC apparently thought the game was running on Medium, while it displayed to be on Very Low. Aka, it just lied to me. :)
I have a suggestion for the Goblin Heroes.
1: Add the Spider Queen Saenathra as hero for the Goblins.
2: Add the flat-high spider Ungoliant as Ring hero.
I hope to see those features in game. :)
Actually, couple more suggestions. Add Numenor as a faction. (And an opposite side, like Angband) And add the option to allow civilians and guards to protect your buildings and walk around, as seen with the Battle for Numenor mod. That'd really be great.
Also, rate my suggestions if possible. :P
Sorry dude, this mod is sleeping :P
