The goal of Resistance and Liberation is to realistically portray the events and actions taken by the 82nd Airborne during their stay in Normandy. Our initial release will follow the regiments through a campaign that mimics that followed by the men themselves. The campaign will begin with players dropping into Normandy in the early hours of June 6th, with the ultimate objective of capturing the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. From there subsiquent maps will include missions based on other key areas after the D-Day.

Fall in soldiers! Today do we have a treat for you, so listen up! We have been given the opportunity to give you a small tour of Carentan Causeway. Therefore, put on your boots and grab your weapons, because we are about to take a sneak peak of enemy territory.

In the real battle the US Paratroopers were victorious over the German Paratroops!

you realize he even said he was just going up one side, right? so this is only at most 50% of the map, i get the feeling though we've only seen on fourth of it.

The trees dont cast any shadows? Looks like you have a second sun opposite side of the stream and the barbwire texture needs adjusting as you can spot the repeat texture on very top. Nice big map otherwise, as they should be!

that map is way too big, it would take u about 5min to reach the houses where probably all the action would take place. dam, i know they trying make some way realism but that an OD field to walk. way too long. longer than any RO field i walked.

Map almost looks too big to be on the Source engine. Kudos to the mappers, and nice job on the first person view, it's coming along wonderfully, keep it up!

i do like the mapping, and the models. also the animation does look nice of jumping over a fence.
what i would like to know, will this mod also have SP-missions?
personaly i don't like mp gaming and the sp modding comunity is way to small. i love WW mods and games, that why i comment here with my question, because it would be awsome to be able to play some sp-missions in maps like this.
maybe something to considder? it isn't to hard to make some nice sp-maps out of mp-maps like these. the map is allready there and excelent for adding some npc's, driving trucks etc.

would love to play such missions.
