The goal of Resistance and Liberation is to realistically portray the events and actions taken by the 82nd Airborne during their stay in Normandy. Our initial release will follow the regiments through a campaign that mimics that followed by the men themselves. The campaign will begin with players dropping into Normandy in the early hours of June 6th, with the ultimate objective of capturing the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. From there subsiquent maps will include missions based on other key areas after the D-Day.

The mapping is amazing. It reminds me so much of that level in CoD. Only this feels better.

Just a question, would anyone actually carry an MP40 like that. It seems pretty far ahead.

I am not sure on how soldiers held their weapons in WW2, but this would have been fairly scrutinised already by people on our team who have held and fired this weapon (as well as a few others) so I'm sure it's ok. :)

IT IS FINE. the buttstock extends to where you can't see. so it is most likely resting against the shoulder. trust me, these *origins (where the gun is positioned in first-person) are more realistic and good-looking that most you'll ever see.
