The goal of Resistance and Liberation is to realistically portray the events and actions taken by the 82nd Airborne during their stay in Normandy. Our initial release will follow the regiments through a campaign that mimics that followed by the men themselves. The campaign will begin with players dropping into Normandy in the early hours of June 6th, with the ultimate objective of capturing the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. From there subsiquent maps will include missions based on other key areas after the D-Day.

The water should be a bit more muddy. (It's flood water, a glider crashed there, troops are walking there, it's in a field where the dirt is loose- all signs point to mud. :P)

The Glider looks brand new, destroys the whole dirty mood of the map.

The glider would look like that. However; it'd probably make sense to put some dirt on the front and left wing where the impact was.

Should add some scorch marks to the glider; it probably had some close encounters with AA guns on the way down.

From reading my d-day book, when the Brits touched down like this (but they landed in a field) the glider was torn up since it was made of plywood and little metal. Idk about the USA when they touched down, but those veterns are still arguing with the Brits over who touched down first.
PS: It should be darker out, like night dark. This happened before the d-day landings on the beach.
