RE:CS is a mod for Counterstrike that let's you fight against enemies from the series Resident Evil. This so far includes zombies, Umbrella mercs and as a boss- Wesker. You will find yourself in the familiar surroundings of CS but alone and with B.O.W.s on all side. Finally we will see how Umbrella's creations fare against modern-day heavy weaponry.
New weapons and sounds are included. Crimson heads hope to be added soon. We will strive to keep you updated at all times with an accurate description of where progress is actually at. You will not once hear any of the following cop-out arguments pass our lips:
1. We're doing this for free.
2. We're doing this in our spare time.
3. We're doing this for ourselves.
4. We don't owe you anything.
5. If you can't do better you can't criticise.
6. Don't like it, don't play it.
These arguments are usually followed by the argument "We're not dead". If progress slows to beyond all measure we will inform you and not leave you following a dead project. With that here is the current progress.
BETA RELEASED: get it here- Fileplanet.com
4 of the most popular CS maps have been populated with AI enemies. These will probably form our first release. Progress was set back slightly when I decided to replace all the weapon models (again) with better stuff. Now the SA80 has its signature miniscope instead of iron sights. New sounds also. The focus will mainly be on expanding the enemy spawns so that at timed intervals you get more advanced B.O.W.s.
As you can see from the screens zombies are spawnable ingame, meaning it's just a question of expanding the number of spawn points. You can also check out some of the new weapon models in the pics.
I've uploaded a lot of pics for the gallery here.
Do you think it's worth releasing an update that adds the Hunter to the game?
