Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

AI hotfix and a quick update on the status of 1.4.

Posted by on

Greetings everyone!

I’m just here to share a little update on the status of the 1.4 release as well as some patch notes information for 1.3.4.

With the release of the 64-bit update from Petroglyph, we realized the AI in our skirmishes wasn’t doing anything. We’ve finally found a fix, which has just been uploaded to the Steam workshop as you read this. Hopefully, that will not be a problem anymore, but if anyone is still having trouble with something, feel free to report it to our bug reports channel on Discord.

As for 1.4, I know in my previous article I said we’d hopefully have it out by late summer of 2023, but alas that didn’t work as planned, as all things usually don’t. In terms of where we are now, we’re close to getting the first beta version to our testers, so that’s existing news. I will be back to provide more information when things are more concrete. we have also decided to add some new land units to the fold to make up for some of the delays we’ve had. More information on these new units will be shared in the future, so stay tuned for that!

If you haven’t yet, join our Discord as we’re constantly sharing new stuff from the current update and future ones.

Thank you so much for staying with us as we continue to bring you the best mod possible!

From the RaW mod team, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Hello friend, the truth is that I'm in love with your mod, I'm not here to correct your great effort, I just want to ask a question, will non-Steam users be left behind and now the game will be for 64 bits?, sorry for the inconvenience, but there is a great number of users who still play like this, anything I will always be closely following your project :)

It's tough to say as the recent Petrogliph updates to Steam have made modding the game much easier. We've discussed maybe releasing legacy editions of each update once we release the next one, but idk how well that would work for non-steam users either way. I think there is hope, but I also believe that steam is the way to go for a lot of mods nowadays.
