Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Yes I made some Trandoshan Militia. They are pretty cool looking. Armored Trandoshans with Kamas. They also carry little swords but thats something we will be adding in the expansion.
Speaking of indigenous species, what about Kaleesh warriors? I'm sure they would be a fun addition for an expansion.

we HAD friendly fire but the game became unplayable with it as you always lost units from friendly fire and thats not right... besides many of the maps have civilians on them and you have to watch out for them also. Too much to worry about.
Yeah. The EAW/FOC engine seems to be pretty limited in those regards. I think it would be great if LA made the ground portion of the game a little bit more like the "Total War" series of RTS games. Friendly fire in those games works very well and the battles are just that much more realistic. Anyway that's just my opinion.
I always wondered why there were not Star Wars mods for total war, it would be a beautiful game.
